As our 2011 voyage draws near, we have been busy preparing a slew of original DIY crafts in a community effort to finance the ride up California's beautiful coastline.
In the cozy staff kitchen area, our dedicated group of educators have been creating the following items, which will soon be for sale at events in Avalon--and beyond:
*A unique Howlands Landing line of lip balm, all encased in 100% recycled lip balm tubes
*Hand-poured soy candles in hand-cut recycled glass
*An assortment of sprouting kits for a fun, healthy family project
